Very sorry to say, but Kuru Kahveci Mehmet Efendi’s coffees are so much roasted, pitch black dark roasted, burnt, you can not get the taste of the coffee but a burnt substance. Why not buy the high quality beans and process it? I would definitely pay more for decent Turkish coffee. I realised I stopped buying and recommending their coffee long time ago. The oldest establishment of an industry, the one who did the firsts in Turkey, should not continue like this. Turkish coffee is one of a many things we should protect by producing the very best of it.
